A large country with a relatively small population, Namibia truly is a land of discovery and soul-searching. The indigenous peoples of Namibia refer to the deserts they live in as The Land God Made in Anger, on account of its desert landscapes, volcanic mountains, desolate salt pans, giant sand dunes and rugged Atlantic Ocean beaches.
Travellers are drawn to Namibia by the haunting beauty of the Skeleton Coast, the endless stretch of ochre-coloured sand dunes at Sossusvlei, the impressive gorge of the Fish River Canyon winding through the barren landscape of the great plateau, and the vast salt pan of Etosha National Park, one of the world's greatest wildlife viewing venue.
This land is in many ways inhospitable and unforgiving as it is beautiful…this is the Land where time stands still.
